| So this was a great weekend. I went down to Dallas to watch the 'Hawks win the Big 12 title, and it was nice to be away from lawrence for a while with not a care in the world. Then I get back and hear of a tornado and classes being cancled and things are really looking up with an even better weekend on the horizon....life is good. |

| So I think the plan for grad school is to decide between Purdue, IU, KU, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Michigan, and Rutgers. And I think I'm going to be in Indiana for the summer and take summer school classes. It's looking more and more like I wont be at KU for grad school, but we'll see how the next 8 months go.

| Well its New Years eve day/morning, so I guess its time to think about the past year. It was definatly a long one, although in reality it doesn't really seem like a year has gone by. I went back looking through old xanga posts around this time....I wish I would have known then what I know now. Too many mistakes on my part last year...too many things out of my hands that didn't go as I had hoped...I look back at last year with much dissapointment. I look ahead to this year with much optimism though....it has to go better than the last. |
